Students vary greatly in their attitudes, aptitudes, and backgrounds. Not only do they have different personalities, but they also have different learning styles. The Professional Knowledge standard ensures that all students receive the same basic curriculum, but it is up to the teacher to ensure that students are engaged and performing to state mandated standards of learning.
